Anthem Inc. is denying close to 2,000 individuals living with HIV access to the doctors they trust. They are pulling AHF off their list of covered entities in Florida, forcing patients to switch their providers and disrupt their care. They gave hardly any notice of the change and refused to take into account the vital nature of consistent care for people living with HIV/AIDS.
They’ve continued to prioritize profit over people by denying patients access to highly qualified, HIV specialty doctors at healthcare centers operated by AHF.
