AHF Burlesque Show Celebrates International Condom Day in Style

Pop. Six. Squish. Uh uh. Cicero. Lipschitz……audiences left AHF’s night of Burlesque humming Chicago’s famed “Cell Block Tango” and thinking twice about not using a condom. This year, in celebration of International Condom Day, AHF created and produced a touring Burlesque show that entertained and educated crowds from Los Angeles to New York.

The fierce, funny, and fabulous comedian Flame Monroe (of Tiffany Haddish’s comedy special “They Ready”) hosted all four shows and entertained crowds with raunchy monologues and anecdotes that aimed to promote using a condom and playing safe. Dancers lit up the stage performing to classic broadway hits and wowing with death-defying acrobatics.

AHF created International Condom Day as an innovative way to remind people that wearing a condom can prevent pregnancy and STDs, including HIV.

Celebrated every year on February 13th, AHF has been hosting events around the globe for years. Click here to see photos of AHF’s Burlesque shows, events, and demonstrations around the world.
