This month, AHF formally welcomes a new affiliate organization—Thursday’s Child—with this Facts at a Glance. Established in 1989 and affiliated with AHF in November 2021, Thursday’s Child’s mission is “…to develop, to coordinate, and to provide services for People Living with and affected by HIV/AIDS on Long Island.” Welcome, Thursday’s Child!
We also want to acknowledge and celebrate the 5th anniversary of the affiliation between AHF and CALOR (Comprensión y Apoyo a Latinos en Oposición al Retrovirus) – headed by Executive Director Omar N.
