Rest Assured your care is secure with AHF

AHF is always here to serve your healthcare needs under all circumstances. We are writing to tell you that recently OASIS Florida, the lead agency for the State Department of Health in your area is seeking to improperly terminate AHF’s contract.

We have also come to know that OASIS is falsely advising patients that they must immediately stop receiving care from us.  We understand that this directly affects you.  We are attempting to resolve this amicably with OASIS.  However, if necessary we are ready to challenge forcefully OASIS’s improper contract termination, bad faith actions, and utter disregard for the health and safety of our clients.

In the meantime, your health and well-being remain our primary concern.  We want to reassure you that you can continue to receive your care from us.

And if you have already experienced difficulties interacting with OASIS, we urge you to contact your State HAPC coordinator directly to let him know that you wish to continue to receive your care from AHF.  You can contact him by mail, phone, and email at:

For thirteen years, AHF has been providing exemplary care and case management to you and others in this area.  We are shocked at OASIS’s abrupt actions and we intend to try our best to rectify the situation.

But regardless of the outcome, our doors remain open and true to our mission which is to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of ability to pay.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact your AHF case manager or Melinda Haines at our office number, 850.476.3131.

Sincerely,

Mitchell Whitehead, M.D.
