We are writing to inform you of major construction that has begun in the Hillcrest area just outside of our AHF and Out of the Closet facility along 5th avenue that has that one way avenue reduced to 1-lane only, of only 2 available.

As well, parking along the same stretch of avenue has been reduced to less than 50% parking. With the additional parking traffic being pushed to other already congested parts of our already congested area, plus all of the additional construction traffic and construction employees parking in the neighborhood as well, we are reaching out to make you aware. The project is scheduled to last through the Fall of 2026 in different phases, we ask that you take this into consideration, and based on our experience with the new traffic flows, that you attempt to build in an additional 25-30 min of travel time so that you may be able to arrive to any scheduled appointments. If there are any major updates to this, we will work to help keep you informed. Please note that both our pharmacy and our retail store, Out of the Closet, are both fully operational and open normal business hours, and we appreciate you knowing this and still coming for a visit!

Le escribimos para informarle sobre una obra de construcción importante que ha comenzado en el área de Hillcrest, justo afuera de nuestras instalaciones de AHF y Out of the Closet sobre la avenida 5. Esta avenida, que es de un solo sentido y normalmente cuenta con dos carriles, ha sido reducida a solo un carril disponible.

Además, el estacionamiento a lo largo de este tramo se ha reducido a menos del 50%. El tráfico de vehículos en busca de estacionamiento se ha desplazado a otras zonas ya congestionadas del vecindario, lo cual, sumado al tráfico adicional por la construcción y al estacionamiento de los empleados de la obra, está generando un impacto considerable en la circulación local.

Este proyecto está programado para desarrollarse en diferentes fases hasta el otoño de 2026. Le pedimos que tenga esto en cuenta y, según nuestra experiencia con el nuevo flujo vehicular, le recomendamos planificar con 25 a 30 minutos adicionales de tiempo de viaje para poder llegar puntualmente a sus citas programadas.
