The 2021 AIDS Walk Atlanta and Music Festival was one for the record books! With the hard work and support of volunteers, AHF staff, walkers, and runners, we have raised $$400,650 to support and care for Georgians living with HIV, and we aren’t finished yet.
We’ll continue to accept donations here on our website until 10/31. Our beneficiary organizations will receive much-needed funds to support their HIV-related programming and care. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, AHF staff, for all of your support!
AIDS Walk Atlanta 2021 kicked off with beautiful weather. The walkers and runners turned it out and did their part to support our beneficiaries. COVID-19 precautions were followed by event staff and participants, making it a safe and fun morning.
Sevyn Streeter and Ludacris both brought the house down with their performances after the walk ended. Congresswoman Williams gave an inspiring speech, and Front Row Yogi led a beautiful warm-up to our walk. All day, team spirit was in full effect—congratulations to the Top Fundraising Team and Largest Team, AID Atlanta, led by Nicole Roebuck. It was an incredible day!
Don’t forget that AHF staff are encouraged to participate in AIDS Walk Atlanta. If you missed the walk this year, we’ll be back in 2022. Check your email for participation details for staff members, and thank you again to those who participated this year. To see more photos of the event, click here.
