This Pride season AHF is standing united to support equality, human rights, affordable housing, healthcare, lower drug pricing, and global public health. AHF’s presence at Pride officially kicked off in May at Pensacola Pride in Florida. With the increase in vaccinations across the country, AHF events was excited to be back at Pride in person. Coming together to celebrate diversity and inclusion are an important part of the culture at AHF. We were also able to restart our testing efforts at Pride festivals with 181 tests with five reactives done on the day.
From Pensacola, AHF staff traveled to Dallas for our second Pride stop. There, we were able to do 52 free HIV tests. With COVID-19 restrictions easing, we’re looking forward to a Pride season that we can celebrate in person. Look for AHF’s booth the next time you’re at Pride!
