Public Health Division Research staff are working to expand jurisdictions by pulling federal and county HIV and STD data to merge with site-specific AHF testing, treatment, linkage, grant, and expenditure data. These reports will document AHF’s footprint in jurisdictions throughout the United States. PHD will then present these reports to county and state government officials to discuss increasing funding dollars for AHF services.
AHF’s Linkage teams have also been hard at work in the month of February. In South Florida the team attended the Getting to Zero Health Fair at the Miami-Dade County Government Center. Working alongside the Mobile Testing Unit team, our Linkage team offered support, assisted with condom distribution, and provided HIV education to the community attendees. Linkage used the opportunity to offer the client information on AHF’s services and educate on ways to stay healthy and stay in care.
